MISSION STATEMENT

The Corporation is organized for charitable, community, and educational purposes in order to promote and achieve a well integrated, well educated, and a well-to-do Ivorian community in Texas.

GOALS

This mission shall be achieved through the following operating goals:

  1. To bring all Ivorians into one viable organization;

  1. To cultivate and foster a spirit of giving and mutual assistance and support among Ivorians;

  1. To initiate, encourage, and promote cultural and economic exchanges between the United States and Ivory Cost;

  1. To collaborate and work with other Ivorian or non-Ivorian not-for- profit organizations that share the same purposes as well as the same missions.

MEMBERS

There shall be three classes: Ivorians in good standing, Ivorians not in good standing, other individuals, organizations or corporations.

Qualifications. Good standing membership shall be granted to any individual, including Ivorians, corporations, and organizations that support the purposes and missions of the Corporation, and who pays the annual dues as set by the General Assembly.

Termination of Membership. The General Assembly may by majority of members present at any constituting General Assembly meeting suspend a member or terminate the membership of any member who becomes ineligible for membership.

DUES

The Association of Ivorians in Texas (A.I.T) member dues for calendar year 2010–2011 are $110.00.
